How To Take Control of Your Life Through Two Critical Questions

“Not everything in your wish list is worth an iota of your most critical resource, being time.  Nevertheless, many of us are our own worst enemies in the way we throw away not only time, but equally other critical resources like effort and money, to get to the end of our wish lists.  The latter, for any of us and particularly at an early age, are a by-product of an endless chain-reaction of wishy-washy thoughts about ways to a great life experience or success.  If left unchecked, this setting could result in one chasing shadows and end up completely missing the entire journey of life.  You will know you are growing out of it if you have started to notice and wonder about how you use your moment or your time in life

How To Take Control of Your Life Through Two Critical Questions!

In your journey of life, the time must come when you no longer just feel concerned about having a job to earn a salary or make a living etc., but instead you begin to wonder whether your presence in life is felt in any meaningful way.  At this stage your mind-set will completely shift from lower-level thoughts that only work to lead you to give up your power, when you put all your hopes on others, and believe there’s not much you can do, yourself, for yourself.  That kind of mental setting will shift to high level and uplifting thoughts that reassures your natural ability to excel in all life situations.  Instead of making available your mental space for rental to such depressing thoughts as “life is just so tough and there is no joy or happiness”, “the economy is bad and the cost of living is just too high”, “salaries are too low and one can hardly make ends meet”, “jobs are hard to find and promotions are non-existent” etc. etc., you will begin to ask yourself direct and soul-searching questions that will eventually lead you through a giant leap in personal growth.

Then, ultimately, you will get it, and you will know the true essence of your natural being, and you’ll claim your power back, and cease to abuse your mind by engaging in limiting thoughts.  When you reach that bridge, where you must cross-over from those overwhelming lower-level thoughts to the side of self-fulfilment, two of the most enriching and life-changing questions will dominate your mental space:

  • ü  Who am I?
  • ü  What am I here for?

Who Am I (Me, Myself and I)?

You will know you are growing, and getting closer to your true essence, when you begin to wonder and ask yourself questions about the “self” that makes up part of who you are.  If you find that you are beginning to show interest in understanding the part of you that says “Me, Myself, and I”, and how that relates to your physical body, then you must know that you have covered much ground, in terms of your personal development.  In human-life practice when someone dies, we say “they are gone”, and it is only the body that remains for funeral services and processes.  If you are at that level of growth where you want to know about the “self” in a person or human being, or in you, it becomes interesting then to view the remaining body as a part-component of the person that has died and “gone”, leaving behind “the body”.  That entity which is “gone”, and leaving the body behind, is the “natural being” in all of us that says “Me, Myself, and I”, and lives inside the body until such time that the body is no more habitable.  That “natural being” is of course your “Spiritual-Self”, “Divine-Self”, “Higher-Self”, “True-Self” etc., whichever term you prefer, but simply refers to the power of God that lives inside of your human body.

Now, that is very interesting if you hold the same view, because all it means is that the true essence of a human being is Divine Power, and that we are all part of God.  Being part of God then, it means we have no reason to despair and to struggle, but to utilize our divine power to manifest all that we desire as “human beings”.  Remember that the power of God also exists in all other natural creations forming the entire Universe, which we are a part-component of, and that it is only our physical form which defines us as “human beings”.  In other words, the same universal intelligence that lives and exists in all of nature is the same as that which creates and lives inside of human beings.   Ultimately, we are a part of nature’s continuum to eternity.

What Am I Here For (Why Am I Here)?

You will know you are growing when you begin to seek for role clarity relative to your natural reason for being.  If you have gotten to that stage in your life as a human being, where you constantly wonder why you were brought into life (and many would think you are crazy), it shows that you have become wiser and aware of the need to take part in life, in a meaningful and life-enhancing way.  At this stage of your life, you hold the view that you could not have been created to just make a meagre and ordinary appearance in life, and then off you go.  You will then begin to search for endless roles in which you can make the most out of your moment in life, in profound ways, and of course utilizing your divine power.  This is when you will be ready to develop your own plan of existence (i.e. a personal strategic plan) to help you build a basis to channel your divine power in a visionary format.  So, if you have reached this level of growth (this certainly is massive), you have no reason to live a life of struggles, but to make the most out of your moment of human-life experience.

P.S. If this sounds interesting to you and possibly a subject of value, particularly the idea of getting yourself set vision-bound, there’s an abundance of books world-wide on the subject matter.  I created my own strategic plan based on what I learnt at a work or organisational strategic planning session; the principles are basically the same.  I have since made a short compilation of my own titled “A guide to effective life planning”, and is available on Amazon, just in case you may be interested.
