How to Setup for A Priceless Good-Feel Experience of Life

 


If you've ever used a bunch of identical keys to enter some premises on a regular basis, chances are on many occasions, it took you chunks of time to find the right key in the bunch.  At times you most probably had to try out all the possible keys in the bunch before getting to the right one.  However, over a period, and with some growing frustrations, you may have decided to pay attention to figure out whatever subtle differences there may be between the keys or how they are arranged within the key holder.  From thence onward you now had your system under control, because you took a moment to pay attention to details.  If this scenario on managing a bunch of keys sounds familiar to you, or makes some sense, consider now how in everyday life there are moments where we manage to unlock some good feel experiences, but unfortunately and on numerous occasions we struggle to recreate or relive such. No doubt life is tough, but there's always little doors to access good, and the key is in paying attention to notice when such happens.  This way, we each can develop a system for identifying such outlets, to access a sense of feeling good in life, arguably the most sought-after quality in the experience of life

 

How to Setup for A Priceless Good-Feel Experience of Life

 

Many people, possibly you too, express an endless desire to live a life engulfed in happiness, for as long as they want, but often fail to do so because they get held-up trying to figure out the best ways to influence happiness in their lives.  Some will even go to the extent of copying others, with the hope that what gives joy to others may equally work for them, but that doesn’t often work because everyone has their own specific desires, interests, preferences, values etc., and there may be only very little to no overlap at all, between individuals.

 

People who truly enjoy life are those who live on the causative side of things, they are at-cause or proactive, and make things happen to influence the outcomes they desire to experience.  The latter, that is the desired experience, once it manifests, is what gives your life meaning, and it happens following your deliberate act to give value, which itself represent your meaningfulness to life.  So, the meaning of your life is determined by your meaningfulness to life, and hence all things leading to a great life with meaning, and engulfed in happiness, for as long as you want, begins with you.         

           

While many people look more to valuable possessions and money, to provide them with a lasting sense of happiness and a feel good aura, others may get demoralized, frustrated, hopeless, and totally give up on life, because they can’t find opportunities for employment, or they don’t have the right qualifications, or they don’t like the location of work, or it’s just taking too long to get promoted to the right salary scale, for example.  But people who have a great sense of meaning in life don’t get fazed by any and every challenge, instead, they rise to the occasion and stay on course, until the end of their journey of nature.  The following 5 key lessons is how the latter group of people manage to utilize the quality of meaning in life to manifest a feel-good experience in their lives:

 

1.      Consider meaning as the fruit that produces the juice of life!

 

Meaning really is the source of the fulfilling experience of life, or the tasty juice of life, whichever way you look at it or you define the goodness of the experience of life.  Meaning is the trigger for the feel-good quality of life, in a longer-term sense, and that’s why you must set yourself for meaningful living.  The aspect or attribute of meaning in life, is a natural phenomenon, and hence not something that can be bought with money.  It cannot be genuine, and neither can it last long, if it’s based on non-natural or artificial sources.  Just like you, a natural being, the good feeling of your experience of life, essentially the meaning of life for you, must be triggered by a natural cause, and that means you having to engage your natural abilities to create or influence outcomes that fulfils yours and society’s desires in life.

 

2.      Set yourself up to feel the sensation of meaning and taste the goodness of it!

 

You must set yourself up to feel and taste the juice of life, by noticing, appreciating, and embracing every other “now moment” when life’s gifts and assists happen to come your way.  This could be when you receive your next meal, you get your first employment offer, you come out of hospital after recovering from a fatal condition, you get something like a simple smile to acknowledge the being you are, you get selected to represent your nation in a major international event, or you receive a thank you for valuable contributions you make at work or in society at large, and many more other similar instances.  You are never going to experience the goodness of life, if all you do is to always look outside of you, at things you consider missing in your life.  In other words, your wish list of things to get before you can allow yourself to rejoice.  Take note also that your wish list commonly extends to infinity, and hence you’re more than likely to never get to the end of it.  You’ll also miss-out on your juice of life if your mind-set is fixed on only celebrating the big and popular events of others, who you consider famous, and perhaps even more important and deserving than you.  Yes, our gifts will come in various shapes and sizes, but they all signify the juice of life, which you must set yourself up to feel and taste, by raising your sense of mindfulness.  So, get ready to notice, receive, and embrace the good that life offers to you, that’s the way you can start appreciating and seeing meaning in life.

 

3.      Do what you do to serve a clear purpose that impacts life in a good way!

 

Here’s some interesting words of inspiration I would like to share with you, attributed to Khalil Gibran, and goes thus “the obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply”.  I find these words very interesting when considered in relation to the endless struggles that characterises modern human life, including our inability to make possible for the whole world the conditions of peace, love, joy, and happiness, which I consider our common vision as a species.  The interesting thing is that humans are natural, and linked to an endless supply of natural power, and not only that, but are also embedded with great abilities and potential, which can easily be transformed and harnessed to create outcomes that meet our needs.  That is an obvious fact which however may not be visible enough to most until “someone expresses it simply", to the extent everyone can begin to see it vividly within themselves.      

 

Even more interesting, and in line with the topic for this post, is the fact that anyone who chooses to adopt some life role, big or small, and specifically use it to give value, and nothing else, in some productive way, will always experience a sense of meaning in life.   Try to reflect, or better still, watch yourself, when engaged in some activity of interest to you, wherein your role is to provide either support, service, entertainment etc., to others, and the recipients express some clearly visible gestures of acknowledgements and gratitude.  If you pay close attention to the way you feel, or your reaction to such gestures, you’ll sense a remarkable good feel experience.  This is the reward you always get when you present yourself to life as a contributor of value, where there’s need, and you successfully make the necessary impact.  The good feel experience you get is the ultimate meaning of your life, and you happen to be the causative factor, through your choice to engage in value-addition, simply, being purposeful.

 

So, I think yes, if you can get up each day and contribute something of value to meet clearly defined or visible needs, you’ll feel truly meaningful to life.  This in turn will serve to satisfy one of the top needs of human beings, at the individual level, which is to feel an important part of society.  Ultimately, there’ll be nothing else more important to distract you from enjoying your juice of life.  The obvious is that you are natural, and not artificial, and can draw from your natural abilities to provide value to meet human life needs, and in return receive a good feel experience, as your meaning of life.  Such is the simplest approach to living a meaningful, joyous, and fulfilling experience of life.  

 

4.      Get rid of any acts that do not serve to propel the journey of your life further!

 

You want to get rid of that which doesn’t make you feel meaningful in any long-term way.  You know about those acts we often get drawn to, not because there’s a great value to get out of it, but simply because they are popular events, and everyone is doing it, but also commonly because this feeds the ego aspect of our human element.  If you find that a great deal of your critical resources, like money, time, and efforts, seem to just disappear overtime with nothing much to show, in the form of some advancement in the quality of your life, then chances are you’ve veered-off track, and you are likely to end on the opposite side of the meaning of your life.  Yes, sometimes you may spend much of your critical resources to impress or excite others, and feel important about it, but it’s only a short-lived experience that doesn’t add much value into advancing your journey, so you can continue to enjoy your juice of life.  Make effort to raise your awareness about this and slowly rid yourself of any acts that may only serve to kick the value of meaning out of your life and jeopardize your desire to feel good and continue your journey into the far distance.

 

5.      Make it a habit to reward yourself for keeping purposeful and meaningful as you go!

As you begin to grasp the concept of getting meaning into your life, it’ll be very important that you give yourself a pat on the back, become your own cheerleader, as well afford your spirit a victory dance, to acknowledge all the transformation and achievements, as you manage to keep giving value and maintain that sense of meaning in your life.  You may want to expose yourself to a variety of events of interest to revitalize, like sports, entertainment, travel, or any other you prefer.  This will serve to inflate your sense of meaning in life and further propel your desire to keep going for more of the feel-good experience, while you still have a moment in life.
