3 Wisdom Tips to Help You Stay on Course as The Year Begins

“As with all achievements, preparation is ever key.  So, the beginning of a new year calls for everyone to setup for their intended success.  This is not something that you can delegate to anyone as only you hold the specifics of what it is you desire to manifest and experience in your life.  Having been just allocated another twelve-month period to extend your journey of life, you’ll do really great if you can begin now than later, to get your plans in order.  As they say i.e. wisdom teachers, ‘failure to plan is planning to fail’, and equally, ‘when you choose to not decide what to do, you nevertheless would have decided not to do anything’.  However, know that your life depends more on you taking action to transform your ideas for a better future into reality, which is what you desire to live and experience.   The truth though about manifesting that future you desire begins with preparation, and not just any, but one that emphasises your own readiness to do the right things the right way.

3 Wisdom Tips to Help You Stay on Course as The Year Begins!

When a new year begins, it’s always an opportunity to reconsider different approaches from that which didn’t yield for you as desired, in the past.  There’s a likelihood that you didn’t make as much gains or progress, as you intended, in the year just gone by.  If you take a moment to ponder over this, you may possibly find that your key drawbacks had to do with your own failure to self-organise.  That means you probably didn’t place yourself in the right position in terms of understanding and knowing what to do, when to decide, where to seek for assistance etc., and most importantly, getting yourself to act and make things happen for you.  Whereas many of us are adamant about what we truly want in life, we nevertheless lack the authenticity, self-belief, and the zeal, to step up and do what we must to create the future we desire.  One common disadvantage we practice, perhaps overly so, is when we give away our natural power to do much for ourselves by, instead, looking up to others and endlessly hoping or expecting them to make life happen for us, in some way.  This kind of approach, where you may decide to pin your hopes on others, is one that is hugely costly in terms of time and often results in the year just going by with little to show for it by most.

Whatever your situation might have been in the past year or past many years, you certainly need not start a new year by sliding back into the same rut.  You want to see the reality of the beginning of a new year as truly representing a new and real possibility to start or restart your journey afresh.  One of the truths you may not be aware of is that much of what you want in life has already been achieved by others, and that many such others have kept records of how they managed.  So, you are at a stage in your journey of life where you need to activate or enable your mental systems to recognize such records which document the pathways that others took to reach for their successes in life.  Much of these records are in the form of books and articles, and the information therein is evergreen.

Beginning this year, I thought to share some 5 wisdom tips presented below, taken from some earlier records I came across in my own journey of life.  This is something just meant to help you nourish your mental efficacy, and as well your readiness to hopefully make the most out of this year than perhaps you did in the past year.  I hope you’ll find these not only helpful but also inspirational to an extent where you’ll begin to feel driven to seek for more of such evergreen wisdom.

1.      Your vision is your destiny!

A vision is an imaginary representation of a more enhanced experience of life in the future, which is something comparatively better and more enticing than your current situation.  As a traveller in the journey of life, having a vision works to draw your life ahead and provides an urge or burning desire within, to keep you moving and avoid getting stuck.  In a way, a vision is the ultimate in the experience of life you are meant to get, for total fulfilment, and for that it represents your destiny as a human traveller.  It’s through the process of envisioning that you are able to engage your creative and innovative abilities and advance your life to the next level of an enhanced experience.  So, as the year begins like now, you must imagine the kind of improvements or enhancements you want to bring into your life and then make sure to channel your critical resources that way.  Don’t allow yourself to get distracted by anything else but just keep your focus on what you want to improve, and most importantly, act to make sure things are getting done to bring you closer to where you truly want to be.

2.      If you keep on doing the same things the same way, you’ll always get the same results!

This, in my view, is arguably one of the most critical truths deserving the highest level of attention from all those that desire to advance and enhance their experience of life.  If in the past year, or several past years, you have not felt a sense of advancement and growth in your experience of life, chances are you are totally stuck on just doing the same things as before.  Maybe you’re just doing a bare minimum to make things happen for you, or you’re stuck in your comfort zone of the usual and familiar, or you’re one amongst the top procrastinators in human life etc.  Surely, if your attempts at translating your ideas for a better future from the mental space into reality, did not yield as per your desires, it’s a call for change of approach.  Yes, there’s no harm in trying the approach a couple of times, but once you begin to clearly notice a loss in your critical resources i.e. time, efforts, and money, and as well you begin to feel some growing sense of discomfort, frustrations, stress etc., and possibly loss of faith and hope, then it’s time to jumpstart your mental ability for creativity.

There’s no iota of doubt that you, like every other human, are endowed with endless natural abilities capable of getting you where you desire to be.  See the beginning of this year as an opportunity to notice, firstly, how you’ve not made much progress to get nearer to where you want to be, in terms of your desires in life, and secondly, how you are just as normal a being as others, naturally-empowered, and with great potential to succeed if you allow yourself to learn, understand, and become more creative in your life engagements, and thirdly, that you cannot create better in your life by simply just doing the same things the same way over a prolonged period, because you’ll basically just get the same outcomes as before, which is less likely to greatly enhance your experience of life.

3.      When you know, you do better!

This wisdom tip cautions you against starting any of your life engagements or works this year, without prior preparations, in terms of, for example, seeking for better understanding, adequate knowledge, know-how etc.  You no doubt don’t want to start anything this early in the year which you’re not certain to push all the way to the end and yield some meaningful results.  If you make an attempt at creating something to advance your course, but just end up abandoning it, perhaps for the umpteenth time, you would have thrown away so much of your critical and vital resources.  As in the adage ‘knowledge is power’, it is your ability to first clearly understand, and know, which creates that momentum you need to progressively impact work, or tasks you must do, to completion.  Truthfully, when you know you become effective at what you do, because you are clear about the right things to do, and hence your resources won’t be misdirected, and the results you get will be the ones that provide solutions to your challenges or meet your needs.  Besides being effective i.e. doing the right things or that which truly needs to be done, when you know you are efficient i.e. you do things right first time.  This helps to avoid the possibility of wasted resources, as you try out several other approaches you don’t know much about.  So, beginning this year, appreciate this truth that ‘when you know, you do better’.  Set yourself to become a knowledge-seeking being, to ensure all your acts and decisions on choices before you are based on knowing.  This way, you’ll make sure your resources work to advance your life to another level, or stage.

P.S. Make conscious contact with the fact that this year once more, you have another chance to influence the experience of life you would like to live and get fulfilled by.  If in the past things didn’t turn out as you intended, now is the time to consider what you did and why you got different results.  Could it be you didn’t really have a clear vision of what you wanted to manifest?  Did you maybe just continue to do the same things you’ve done over the years and hoped for better, even though you did not at any time yield the outcomes you desired? Perhaps you didn’t do much to seek for more knowledge to understand better how you could make life happen for you as you want it to be.  Whatever you did that didn’t work, I hope you can make some value picks from this post to help you further your course.
